All right, technically the Gabriel Knight 20th Anniversary remake wasn’t a crowdfunded game, but it was promised to backers of the Pinkerton Road campaign back in early 2012 as “Mystery Game X”, so this one deserves a mention. While the game has been out on PC for a while now it’s just finally getting a release date for mobile devices.
Come July 23rd you’ll be able to play with everyone’s favorite Schattenjäger on iOS and Android tablets. Relive the glory days of Sierra On-Line with the updated Sins of the Fathers in the palm of your hands. “Day 1” will be free to everyone, but to get your hands on the remaining nine days you’ll have to fork over $2.99 or $3.99. The latest update for the Pinkerton Road Kickstarter, as well as Phoenix Online Studios’ own blog, has all of the information that you need in order to experience a classic updated for today’s discerning adventure game community.
YES! I’ve got the PC version, but an Android version of Gabe Knight to keep me company on my lunch break would be fantastic.
