When it comes to adventure games, I prefer to play them on a PC. However, I’m also not the type to bash console users, either. Frankly, this genre could use all the exposure it can get. SkyGoblin just announced in an update that the entire The Journey Down series will be ported to both the Playstation 4 and XBox One with the help of Blitworks.
No release date is set yet, but the third installment still needs to be finished anyway. Outside of this news, brought to backers via a video update, little else is known. The update covers the current state of the final chapter, but console fans also now know their platform of choice is being supported. The first two episodes of The Journey Down were fun to play. Hopefully, the finale will be a satisfactory end to said journey. And now console fans get to enjoy the story, too.
Still haven’t played the original, but I’m pretty stoked for this one, it looks beautiful.
The first two chapters are great. I so look forward to the conclusion. 🙂
Oh wow, I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this game before! Also, despite not owning a console I’m glad that console owners get to experience an adventure game like that.
Yeah, so do I. It’s worth playing on whatever platform it exists on. 🙂
