The 9 drops you into a dark maze and lets its ambiance speak for itself.

The 9The only lights here are floating orbs and the scattered chips of colour that fill each room, marking out its edges in soft focus. These are actually made from a photograph of a frozen windshield, edited enough to be unfamiliar and strange but with the same simple beauty.

Feel out the doors and shift through blues, yellows, and pinks in silence but for your own footsteps and the strange humming of the flickering spheres.

The 9

There is a sense of discovery in seeking out the new colours fluttering in the distance, sidestepping the planet-like figures and striking out into a new area – similar, but not quite the same.

The 9 is available to download for free on itch.io.
