[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t’s a bit of a niche, but there’s a huge audience for train simulation games, and the ground-breaking Trainz: A New Era, currently being developed by N3V Games and successfully funded in December, has just released some info regarding when exactly their game will take place. Promotional art has already guaranteed that modern trains will be prominently featured in the game, but new intel straight from the devs may surprise you. The game will start in 1915, WWI era, with period-accurate stock such as the Victorian Railways DD class 4-6-0 in Canadian Red and ‘WW1’ red; not to mention a range of authentic carriages and wagons.  As the game progresses, you may move forward in time, but it’s already been confirmed that 1915 is your point of departure.
