Have you been looking for something to play on your OUYA that justifies that purchase at least a little bit? Well, I hope you like dubstep, because DubWars is the bass-powered twin-stick shooter you’ve been waiting for, and it’s been released on both OUYA and Steam Early Access, so grab your good headphones, get that controller that flashes blue lights when it vibrates, and prepare yourself for the utmost enjoyment.
As you guys may know from past articles, I do so love twin-stick shooters. It probably comes from my early years playing the hell out of Crimsonland, but with the wealth of solid shooters we’ve seen, it’s hard not to get excited when a title stand out like DubWars does. I’m also one of the few people on this planet that will admit to enjoying dubstep, so if you’re like me, this game was tailor-made for you. Tight controls seamlessly combine fast-paced and challenging gameplay with some completely solid dubstep artists to create one of the most fun experiences you’ll have in all of the genre.
