And I would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for that meddling little girl!
Ah, mysteries.
Jenny LeClue is a young detective bored to tears of the small, innocent cases she’s been investigating for years. Based in Arthurton, the seemingly innocent college town, Jenny’s world is turned upside down when the college’s Dean is murdered and all clues point towards her mother. Essentially stuck in a Matryoshka doll of mysteries, Jenny learns the truth behind Arthurton and the strange people that lurk about town through miniature mysteries that evolve into something greater than Jenny ever imagined.
Jenny LeClue is an attractively designed and engaging interactive point and click adventure mystery game that is planned to be released on PC, Mac, and Linux. Jenny LeClue is the work of Joe Ross, a motion designer and director who’s been working on it for several years with the help of several people chiming here and there. With the $65,000 received from Kickstarter, Ross will be able to hire on more help to get Jenny LeClue completed by December 2016.
Jenny LeClue will be developed in multiple Appisodes, ranging from one to three, depending on the funds received and how things work out with development help. With just the initial funding goal, Jenny LeClue’s first two Appisodes could be developed but if certain stretch goals are met, we’re more likely to see the third undergo development as well.
As of writing this, Jenny LeClue has already raised over $19K and there’s still 27 days remaining. Considering the speed its gaining funds at, I’d say we have another successful campaign on our hands.
