Animal Lover is a Visual Novel on Kickstarter about guys from the past that used to be animals but are now human again.Hey all you visual novel and dating sim fans out there! Are you looking to back a campaign other than something facilitated by Sekai Project? You’re in luck as this weekend a neat indie project by the name of Animal Lover launched on Kickstarter. The name might be initially disconcerting, but it all makes sense in context.

In this game you play as a young woman named Lucy who somehow finds herself the center of attention between a variety of hunky guys. Of course, these aren’t just any old ordinary dudes. As it turns out they are all men from different eras who were transformed into animals for many years. For example, Edmund VII had once been a prince before turning into a tiny hamster. Now back in human form, and in the modern era, these folks will have a lot to deal with. As the story progresses you’ll be able to discover more about each character and possibly even date one of them!

Animal Lover is a Visual Novel on Kickstarter about guys from the past that used to be animals but are now human again. So far it seems the biggest strengths are the writing and unique art style of Animal Lover, which are of course immensely important in the visual novel space. If you’d like to get a taste of the game simply take a look at the provided demo for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Unfortunately, Google Chrome browser users may find the download blocked entirely. Interested parties can pledge to Animal Lover’s goal of $5,000 from now until February 8. Those short on cash can help by giving the Steam Greenlight campaign an upvote.
