Anyone you know planning on missing a rent payment this month?  It might be that they’ve invested all their cash into the Hyper Light Drifter Kickstarter campaign.  Heart Machine’s pixellated action RPG has been tearing it up since it launched on September 12th, reaching it’s $27,000 goal in less than 24 hours.

Most impressive!  But what happened?

  • A brief but impressive gameplay video that showcased several different portions of the game
  • Stylized pixel graphics running silky smooth
  • Plenty of gameplay information on the funding page
  • A compelling trailer score from Will Wiesenfeld, and more to come from indie mini-god Rich Vreeland

At this point you should just go check out the funding page for yourself and watch someones dream continue to come true between now and October 12th.  Fingers crossed that the over funding curse doesn’t rear it’s ugly head.
