ncg2Bugbear, creators of the underappreciated FlatOut series, have hit Kickstarter with their latest game, tentatively titled “Next Car Game.”  Bugbears newest creation doesn’t stray far from their expertise; creating complete carnage with cars.  In NCG players will be able to do what you expect, such as racing on tracks while doling out horrific damage, participating in destruction derby’s while trying not to get debris in their eyes, and driving online against others while keeping their pride and joy running.  Contrary to other car smashing titles, in NCG you’ll also be able to get into the garage and extensively customize your four wheeled baby, so while it’s fun to demolish everything in sight, it may not always be the most fiscally responsible thing to do.

In the Kickstarter video the crew at Bugbear state that they’ve already put more than $1 mil into NCG, and that rather than taking it to a publisher who won’t “get it,” they’ve decided to take it to the fans.  Through the Kickstarter campaign the developers are hoping to further build their community, generate funds to further improve the game, and finally complete the game following their vision.  There’s plenty of screenshots and gameplay to be seen, so take a look.

The Kickstarter campaign for Bugbear’s latest creation runs until December 1st and has a $350,000 funding goal.
