bloom1Ready for a Kickstarter video that combines nightmare fueled concept art, and a beautifully serene soundtrack?  Take a look at Bloom : Memories from Studio Fawn.  Bloom is an action RPG that definitely gives a strong Zelda meets Ico vibe, not to mention a sprinkle of Neverending Story.

bloom2As you undertake the adventure in Bloom it’ll be up to you to decide how to play.  Do you fight your way through all obstacles, causing the world around you to become less forgiving as a result?  Do you Sneak around, Thief style, sticking to the shadows, using misdirection and trickery to get you through your quest?  Or maybe you just try talking to those you come across, without assuming the giant monster is a bad guy?  Studio Fawn is promising a lot with regards to the choices they’re giving players, including the ability to play the entire game without hurting anyone or anything.

While you decide whether to back the project or not, you can download the engine demo and get a rough idea of what the world will be like.  If you like what you see, consider becoming a backer.  The team is looking for $40,000 to help finish Bloom : Memories and have given themselves a deadline of December 10th to get it by.
