Hinterland Games, creators of the much anticipated survival sim The Long Dark posted a sizable update to the games’ Kickstarter page today. The Reader Digest version of it is that production continues, with lots of in-game systems being incorporated into the game such as time of day, dynamic weather, gear, crafting, sheltering, firestarting, and a ton more. You can read all about it in the update.
The most notable aspect of the update, though, has to do with when we’ll be seeing more of it. The team says they’ll be releasing more screenshots in April, some gameplay footage in early May, and the Alpha build of the game soon after. In the meantime, check out the only in-game screenshots to be released since Hinterland raised $256,000 for The Long Dark last October.
