For a while, backers hadn’t heard much of anything from game developer Zac Ayles and his project, Lioness, since October and were starting to wonder whether they were going to for some time. Out of nowhere, at the beginning of this month Zac began posting obscure updates on the Kickstarter page that have really generated some interest. No one can really place the direct connection these posts have to the game, but backers have started noticing a pattern .

On March 7th, a GIF of foods and drinks connected together that you would expect from a vending machine or a concession stand.

March 8th, a letter to the main character of Lioness, Eggert Kirby just talking about things generally as if catching up with an old friend. A little back story, perhaps? It is labeled “Email from a lover,” after all.

March 9th, a conversation with a caffeine addicted cat and Eggert. He mentions two key terms: mystery and paradise.

March 10th, a series of novel clippings  discussing other worldly things, spiritual beings, normalcy and death.

March 11th,  a cluster of images of plants, people standing outside a convenience store, and a sign that says same.

And here’s an eye opener, a memoriam letter about Eggert Kirby on March 12. Talking about his death by unknown causes back in 1992. It concludes with “may he find peace in Paradise.” Which makes me wonder, is this why he kept talking about those key words? Is Kirby dead in Lioness?

Lastly, on March 13th, he posted some obscure atmospheric music with an image of a stop sign with Lionheart Dr. labeled on it. Many of the backers speculate that files are hidden in it.

No more posts have come up since then, but we are all eager to see what other hints will come our way.
