8bitkingdoms4When you play with kings, you either win or you die. You are a king. Yes, just relish in that. Enjoy your 8bit leadership in your 8bit world on your mobile devices. You don’t have to fancy Game of Thrones to enjoy 8 Bit Kingdoms, but if you do, you’re in for a treat.

8 Bit Kingdoms was originally an in-browser real time mutliplayer strategy game that expanded to mobile devices in development. Now it’s being designed for HTML5, Wii U, Android, and iOS, which is why Code Bunny brought their project to Kickstarter; it just kept growing and growing.

8bitkingdoms2In 8 Bit Kingdoms, the world is your oyster. No, really, you own it. Every bit of it. And every moment that passes is money being spent. The land of Leftos is yours for dominating. In your kingdom, you are to establish strongholds and keep yourself in power. The more you expand it and strengthen up the soldiers’ stats, the more powerful all you own will become.

Better yet, your kingdom can be controlled from just about any mobile device, hence the design in HTML 5. Code Bunnys’ Kickstarter campaign for 8 Bit Kingdoms is running through June 9th and has a goal of $18,000 CAD.
