enchantedkingdome1Sometimes it takes multiple tries to get something right and CG Development decided it was time for a second try with Enchanted Kingdom. We covered Enchanted Kingdom (then Enchanted Kingdome) a few weeks back with much anticipation for this campaign. Things were looking extremely promising for the campaign, just a few hundred dollars shy of the £6,500 goal yet CG Development made a strange and unpredicted decision: stop the campaign early and try again with a smaller funding goal.

Just a few days ago, CG Development launched the second campaign, this time only asking for £6,150 from Kickstarter, which is roughly the amount raised in the previous campaign.

According to the update CG Development gave on the first campaign: “We did this whole campaign in a big rush…learned from our mistakes, heard the criticism, and got more experienced so we can do it better next time.”

They’re planning on expanding their marketing horizons for Enchanted Kingdom to spread the word further. Just a little over £150 has been raised as of writing this, so we aren’t sure if the support from the previous campaign is coming over completely. We will see in the upcoming two months.
