For those that don’t know what Shadowrun is, it’s a near future Cyberpunk setting seamlessly blending technology and magic. Harebrained Schemes, which includes the incomparable Jordan Weisman by the by, just announced in their latest update for the Hong Kong expansion to the video game instance of the popular pen-and-paper universe that a new Wiki page is now up and running. Now, I didn’t take a long look at the site mostly due to the fact that I only deal with these hubs when I need specific information. But, it does look like a lot has already been dumped into the feed.
For starters, the first thing you’ll notice when loading up the Wiki site is that there’s section for each of the major installments of the franchise. Including Shadowrun Returns, Dragonfall, and the upcoming Hong Kong. As well as probably the most useful section of the site, namely user generated content. Those who’ve been playing these games know that there’s an editor that lets you create your own levels. You’ll also find tools to create and find these free fan created pieces of awesome.
So, if Shadowrun is your thing and you want all your info in the same place then consider checking out the new Wiki site. It’s still being worked on, and since it is a page that anyone with an account can edit, if you’re of the creative type you can help fill in the blanks.
