Shadowrun: Hong Kong absolutely rocked its Kickstarter campaign back in January. With a goal of just $100,000, Harebrained Schemes easily managed to raise $1.2 million from fans of the Shadowrun series. Backer rewards suggested the game would launch in August 2015, but we all know that sometimes these dates end up delayed.

Luckily, that’s not the case here! In the latest backer update, the developers revealed that Shadowrun: Hong Kong will launch on August 20 at 10:00 AM PST. You’ll be able to nab a copy on basically whichever PC digital distributor you prefer as well as it’s coming to Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store. It’s great to see Kickstarted games arrive right on time like this.

Soon enough another update will go live to help backers get their preferred game keys through BackerKit. At that time they’ll also discuss the status of other reward tiers. Are you ready for more Shadowrun? Let us know in the comments!
