Time traveling hijinks are about to go down. The latest update for Kelvin and the Infamous Machine announced the planned release date for the beta build. For backers who went in on a tier that get it they’ll be able to start playing on August 31. The first two “chapters”, the Beethoven and Newton escapades, will be pretty much playable in their near final form. Only the English version will be available at the end of the month.

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine

If you don’t know what Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is, it’s a story about a genius scientist that doesn’t get the fame he feels he deserves and promptly uses a time machine he built to go back and steal some of the most famous inventions and discoveries. Kelvin goes back to undo the mayhem his boss unleashes on the time stream.  Check out our previous coverage for more, including the changes that have happened to the game over time.

Also, be sure to check the game out on Twitter, Facebook, and their new Web site for further updates.
