It’s been 8 months since The Song of Seven successfully achieved its funding goal through Kickstarter, raising $8,543 from 503 backers. To mark the occasion, developer Enlighted Games has released a shiny new trailer for the game’s first chapter, Overture, which also happens to showcase a nifty new logo.

Weirdly, the artist of said logo wishes to remain anonymous. If I were to make something like this, I’d certainly be taking all the credit for it, but each to their own, I guess!

The Song of SevenThe Song of Seven is a third-person fantasy adventure game that managed to earn Kickstarter’s Staff Pick award. Each chapter of the game is intended to be the equivalent of a short story in videogame form. The art style stands out, though I can’t quite decide whether I like it or not. The color pallete is pretty, but some of the modelling looks a little chunky. I shouldn’t nitpick. It’s early days for this project, yet.
