World’s Dawn is set to launch on Steam on January 25th. That’s right around the corner. The farming sim, inspired by cult classic Harvest Moon, raised a total of $6,689 from 384 backers, which doesn’t sound like much overall, but it’s a lot coming from such a small pool of donators. Here’s hoping fans are pleased with the final product.
I must say, it’s a beautiful looking game. The colours just pop. When a game makes you want to harvest crops, you know it’s gorgeous. But that’s not all players will get up to in World’s Dawn. Indeed, the game’s Kickstarter description informs us we’ll be planting, fishing, cooking, mining, foraging, tending livestock and…flirting. Hmm, interesting.
Backers can expect to receive their codes through Kickstarter message. If you’d like to learn more about World’s Dawn, check out its official Kickstarter page, as well as its newly redesigned website. If Sugar Blossom Village calls to you, be sure to buy the game through Steam on the 25th of January.
Been pumped for this game for a while now. About time we got a fully competent Harvest Moon inspired game for the PC. With the Great Schism of the Harvest Moon franchise a while back, I doubt we’ll be seeing another Harvest Moon game on consoles any time soon. This should help fill that gap.
