One thing that I’m sadly getting quite used to is seeing one project after another miss deadline after deadline. There are actually still some from 2012 that I have yet to see a finished product from, and Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil is unfortunately one of those really late titles that I’m still waiting on. That’s not to say that I’ve lost all hope on seeing it finally released but one does have to ask how much longer of a wait we’ll have to endure before seeing at least a playable build.
Christopher Gianelloni makes some great adventure games, which is why I initially backed his campaign for Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil. His previous Reincarnation games were hilarious Flash games and being such a fan I still have hope that we’ll see something released eventually. Just when is another matter. In the latest update he admits to being quite late and unnecessarily agonizes over the delays. Sure, we all want something for our money but at least we know that it’s still being worked on. Which is enough for me.
For those of us who aren’t quite as willing to sit back and wait he has graciously offered a refund to those who want it. Judging by the comments in the update it seems like a good number are willing to give Chris the benefit of the doubt and continue to “stress out” with him. Still, if you’re a backer and want your money back just drop him a line and he’ll send you a PayPal receipt. Which at least shows that he’s got integrity and is willing to make amends for those who’ve given up on Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil.
[…] to see something…anything all, really. It is good to note that only a handful of backers have asked for their money back which means that I’m far from the only one that still wants to see this become a reality. […]
