It’s been a while coming, but as of the latest update for reggae adventure Bolt Riley the first chapter is still set for its initial release date of April 20. That’s right, 4/20. Go ahead and snicker. I know I did. And that date wasn’t just a fluke. It was planned. For those who backed the Kickstarter you should be getting download keys then. For now, just mark your calendars. And maybe wishlist it on Steam if you have an account.

Bolt Riley

As a tester for Bolt Riley (you can read my initial thoughts on it here), I do have to say that it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. It’s pretty good in some areas and in others it could do with a bit of polishing. Hopefully most of my concerns have been addressed by the time the game launches next week. My biggest gripe is the length, but as Oded says in the update this is just the first part of a larger game.
