I’ve covered LUNA: The Shadow Dust since the inception of its Kickstarter campaign, and I’m happy to report that the campaign has wrapped up and they’ve raised a more than they asked for. My first article on LUNA predicted that the campaign would reach its base goal of £12,000, but they’ve surpassed my prediction and ended the campaign with £17,570—which is enough for one stretch goal, implementation of Android support.

I’d have to link LUNA’s success to the gorgeous gameplay and artwork, but also to their abundant social media and press coverage.

I’d have to link LUNA’s success to the gorgeous gameplay and artwork (of course), but also to their abundant social media and press coverage. I myself wrote up a lengthy profile on Lantern Studio, the team of four behind the point-and-click puzzle adventure. The beta version of the game will be launched by the first quarter of 2017, and the complete game will be released on iOS, Android, & Steam in the summer of 2017.
