In case you haven’t heard by now, adventure games are my thing. My “bread and butter” if you will. Which is why I’ll check out any game in this genre no matter how weird, dark, or mature it is. In the case of StarFlint the Blackhole Prophecy this would certainly fall into the “adult” category, which is something I most certainly don’t shy away from. Just look at my backer list if you don’t believe me. Anyway, this is your traditional point and click variety with some interesting twists. Read on if you’re still interested.
In StarFlint the Blackhole Prophecy you play as two polar opposites, a delivery guy just getting by and a retired special agent, but we know little else about the plot. Which is something that I’d love to know but that’s also what updates are for. Still, knowing more about the game up front would have been nice. I’m a bit of nitpicker here, but I also have to point out that the English is just a little bit hard to read, but the overall gist of what they’re trying to get across isn’t too hard to figure out.
The main selling point for StarFlint the Blackhole Prophecy, aside from the obvious point and click angle, is that they’re developing this three episode series with uncensored adult content. Apparently you can even unlock some nude scenes depending on what you do during the course of the game. It also sounds like it covers a broad range of topics that might not be suitable for the younger audience. In any event, I’m most certainly interested in seeing where they take the game and the price seems to be right at around $10. Here’s hoping they make funding as I’d love to add this to my collection.
I’ve been salivating at the background art on the artist’s facebook page, this is a first day backer type of deal for me!
