In Kickstarter Game of the Week, we take a look at some of the finest cheeses being made by Wisconsin dairy farms. Those include (but are not limited to) Swiss, cheddar, mozzarella, Limburger, and Gorgonzola much to Wallace’s delight.

In this first episode, we’re doing things a bit differently though. Today, we’ll be making our choice of the best run, and best looking, Kickstarter video game campaign of the week. Crazy, right?
stygian1Our first game is Stygian, a Lovecrafitan pulp fiction horror RPG, designed to give you a bad time. It’s hard not to fall in love with Stygian, from the way the campaign is run, to the art style employed by its artists, to the level of player in the narrative.

Maybe one of the cooler aspects about the game is that the story will be based of Lovecraft’s own works, but they’ll go to different places for every player. That’s because, as mentioned, you’ll be able to influence both the story and characters according to how you play, and who you play.

This video was only meant to give you a quick look at the campaign, and we recommend you check out the Kickstarter page for Stygian yourself to get the full experience. Or don’t, if you’re afraid of going insane. Check back around this time next week for our episode on Ambert cheese!
