Visual novels are an interesting genre of gaming that proves that it’s not afraid to tackle some of the more sombre stories. And launching on Kickstarter sometime in July we should be treated to a unique tale about emotional scars and how one deals with a tragic past. At least that’s what I got when I looked at the page for Talk to Me. Our protagonist is going through some hard times and it’s up to you to help him. Or something.

Talk to Me

While I do find the basic premise interesting, what I’m looking forward to learning more about is the promise of heavy LGBT themes. How this all fits into the story of Talk to Me or even how deep it goes I don’t know. But, I’m always on the look out for a game that deals with queer characters and topics. And when the Kickstarter launches next month I’ll be sure to check it out for that alone.
