Deadwood: The Forgotten Curse, an action/adventure with a survival twist now has a slightly larger selection of models. In the eleventh monthly update since the game’s funding, Steamroller Studios has released new images of a major location, parts of a few character animation, and pigs.
Steamroller Studies follows up some of last month’s update content with a preview of some of Knot’s animations. The poses are about what you’d expect after the developers first showed us the lazy character last month. One thing that developers didn’t mention in last month’s update was the Keeper’s Outpost location. Keeper’s Outpost serves as both a lookout and the home of the hermit Radley. Finally, the untextured models of Jiggle Piggies were revealed. You can use these pigs as decoys by strapping a harness to them.
The July update seems a little sparse compared to the last two months which showed off actual animations of some of the characters. Still, consistent but small updates are probably better than unreliable and infrequent large updates. Between the Kickstarter updates and The Log, backers can get a good view of what’s going on with Deadwood.
