Gorgeously creepy horror RPG, Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones won us over with its Kickstarter campaign and secured funding. Now that the dust has settled and developer Cultic Games has had a chance to set up in their new office, they’ve decided to warn backers of their impending doom demo.

Stygian isn’t expected to be complete until November of 2017. Luckily, according to the Kickstarter update, backers will be able to visit Arkham much earlier. An exclusive demo is planned for the first half of 2017. The demo will feature complete character creation and begin with the first chapter of the game. Backers will get first dibs on demo access with a public release to follow.
In the meantime, Cultic has set up their new base of operations inside Bahcesehir University. This grants them access to not only the most established Game Design department in Turkey, but also a steady supply of fresh interns.
If you missed out on the Kickstarter campaign you can still pre-order Stygian on Cultic’s website. Blood sacrifice is entirely optional.
