A short game about exploration, Let’s Go Somewhere New takes inspiration from the 2D Zelda games of yesteryear. It tasks players with solving riddles and puzzles in a watercolor-styled world.

With atmosphere being core to the game, players will talk to local residents as they jump across pits and ponds. The setting sun brings its own transformations to the world, with players needing to navigate a slightly spookier world that brings unique differences.

Demo, Development, and Release Date

There’s currently a demo available that can be played in most browsers, and though it’s fairly short you won’t have to wait long for more with an expected release date of the beginning of May. Keep up with the project’s development on the TIGSource Forums, and check out what the developer has previously worked on here.

Let’s Go Somewhere New will be free-to-play when it releases.
