The European Speedrunner Assembly is currently in the midst of their annual speedrunning charity marathon, to benefit Save The Children, which supports children in developing countries. While all types of games are being speedrun, there’s a strong showing from all kinds of indie games, big, small, old, and new!
Running on two simultaneous streams from July 21st to 28th, with one of those streams running 24/7, the event will see hundreds of speedruns for games from Dora the Explorer to Dark Souls, and everything in between. For the purposes of this list, any game that was at least in part developed by an indie studio qualifies it as an indie game, even if it was published by a AAA studio.
