Just about a year after their previously successful visual novel Kickstarter, Rising Angels: Fates, IDHAS Studios have returned with another game by the name of Order of Ataxia: Initial Effects. Although their previous title isn’t out yet, the developers have been keen on keeping backers updated on a weekly basis. But, enough about their other title as we’re here to chat about their latest game! Order of Ataxia: Initial Effects is a fantasy tale centered around a genius scientist named Charles and the results of his discoveries. You see, he somehow managed to discover a way to travel between planes of existence — and the gods are not pleased with this.
Other worlds were affected by his meddling, including the otherwordly town of Aidis. Once there, Charles is put in quite the predicament between the cast of characters. For example, he meets with a thief and can choose to side with her and help steal what she’s been after so desperately. Or, he might choose to side with the royals and protect them from ruffians such as the thief. With four different women to interact with players will be able to guide Charles down a variety of story paths and endings. With that said, despite Order of Ataxia: Initial Effects being well along in development, there’s not a heck of a lot of story description to be found on the Kickstarter itself.
So, why have IDHAS Studios returned to Kickstarter? They’re looking to raise $10,000 in order to add aspects such as new backgrounds, more CG artwork, music, and voice acting. There’s no doubt that all of these help visual novels stand out when done well. Order of Ataxia: Initial Effects was already Greenlit and will therefore come to Steam when available.

Yay more games to back ^_^
Heck yeah!
This looks interesting. I’ll have to check it out.
Yeah! Here’s hoping they put a demo out (and then that you preview it~).
You know I would. 😉
10,000 huh… best of luck to them.
I’m a bit skeptical of that too. $5k is closer to what I’m thinking.
Yep, I’m keeping an eye out. Some VNs I hardly expected to get funded recently were outrageously successful so it’s hard to know for sure.
