Backers of Starlight: Astronaut Academy have recently undertaken the very first Alpha test of the successfully funded Space MMO. In a backer-exclusive email, developers divulged future plans for the modular series, including new game modes G-Ball, Planetary Settlement, and Deep Space, as well as confirmation that the name has indeed been changed to Starlight: Astronaut Academy from the previous title, Astronaut: Moon, Mars, and Beyond. Modules will reportedly be released at a steady rate until early 2015 (although the developers wish it could go on forever!). The Alpha that backers are enjoying revolves around the G-Ball Module where players compete against each other in the world’s first microgravity sport.
