Early Access has been a pretty mixed bag for indie gaming over the years. On one hand it provides developers with funds and players with quicker access to games. On the other it allows unscrupulous developers to turn their alpha version into a money pit with almost no effort.

Not all problems with early access games come from scummy developers however, some games are just not ready for the limelight. In this video we’re going to take a look at some examples of games which used early access and discuss why/how/if they worked.
