raetikon2There’s an old episode of This American Life that addresses the age old question of which superpower would you choose; flight or invisibility.  The answers people gave served as a sort of moral litmus test; people who chose invisibility were shoplifting perverts, while those that chose flight were free spirits that wanted to experience the world.

Thankfully, the team at Broken Rules aren’t making a game about invisible shoplifting perverts, but the joy of flight.  Secrets of Raetikon is an action adventure game that focuses on exploring a beautifully triangular world filled with wildlife and the curious contraptions of an ancient civilization.  Based on the gameplay shown, players control a bird working its way through the world that must use various objects and obstacles to open up passages that bring you further into the world.

raetikon3The IndieGoGo campaign for Secrets of Raetikon is approaching its November 22nd funding deadline, but has only collected $9,000 of its $40,000 funding target; so get clicking if you think it might be worth your funding dollars.  If you fund you’ll not only get access to an editor that will let you create your own levels, but you’ll get access to the alpha version of the game, which includes a whole set of adorable bugs to experience.
