shadowgate2Good news for anyone that’s been wondering what happened to Shadowgate since it was Kickstarted back in November 2012.  Zojoi, the team behind the prettier-than-the-original first person RPG, have announced that their creation has hit the Alpha milestone.  What’s that mean exactly?  As detailed in a lengthy update on the Shadowgate Kickstarter page it means that all of the main gameplay features are now present, and that the long awaited Beta is that much closer.

You’re welcome to head over to the full update and read all of the details, including info on organizational refactoring, particles, and animation prefabs.  But why read when you can just watch a video?  Zojoi was kind enough to include at the bottom of the update.  Give it a look for some nice looking lighting and weather effects.
