zpocalypse2Kickstarter has plenty of zombie survival games. Some would even say too many, but for the person who hasn’t quite found the one for them, I present to you Zpocalypse: Survival. Borrowing concepts from roguelikes, tactical games, and stealth, Zpocalypse hopes to bring you the absolute finest in zombie-surviving madness, and it’s up to you to decide if this is the zombie game for you. What sets this apart is the already-established fanbase of the fantastic Zpocalypse tabletop game. Will Survival be a fitting successor?

Reply value is king in Zpocalypse, and as soon as you start, you take a unique first step. You choose the theme of your gameplay, and as you make various achievements throughout the game, you will unlock more and more themes for a constantly evolving experience. In-game, you run around Diablo-style in search of goods, ammo, guns, safety, and people that you can recruit to join you. Once you have a chance and some resources, you can build yourself a fine shelter and set it up as an impenetrable fortress to fend off zombies and whatever else may be lurking in the nuclear wasteland you now call home.

Zpocalypse: Survival is currently being developed by Greenbrier Games, and they’re seeking $50,000 in funding to make the game. One of the reward tiers is just awesome, and in all honesty, I really do think that this is going to be a title to watch. Don’t overlook this as just another zombie game, and go over to Kickstarter to see why I say that. If you’re light on cash but big on supporting the game, Steam Greenlight is the place to go to vote for the game without spending a penny.
