deergod6Crescent Moon Games has brought us something we’ve never considered before: a magical journey as a deer. And in a 3D pixel game, I stress. About a month ago, we thoroughly covered The Deer God and even got in touch with what we predict to be the story behind it. Since the Kickstarter campaign launched, we’ve only seen The Deer God grow and grow, with new playthrough videos and additional features implemented. Thanks to the Kickstarter campaign, The Deer God is going to keep growing into the beautiful Elk it was meant to be.

That’s right, The Deer God not only met the funding goal, it doubled it, coming in at $51,953. Holy smokes, that’s amazing, it crushed several stretch goals; including Ouya, WiiU, and Xbox One versions.

I’m personally ecstatic to see The Deer God make it and possibly with some additional post-campaign PayPal funding, we can see some more stretch goals knocked out.
