paradise lostParadise Lost: First Contact, by Spanish indie game development studio Ashtree Works, was double funded on Kickstarter in December of 2013 and featured a December 2014 release date.

When Asthree Works took on their project for Paradise Lost: First Contact, they were all aware of how ambitious this project was. So ambitious it would take multiple revisions to make it just right. They’ve learned things along the way that will improve Paradise Lost’s game design. That being said, after completely reanimating all the character sprites, redrawing the environments, and expanding the playable map, Ashtree Works have decided that they need more time to make Paradise Lost the game they dream of.

Ashtree Works estimates the new release date be sometime mid 2015.
