Those who have been following the development of Dark Day Interactive’s first-person survival horror adventure game One Final Breath should have gotten notice that they’ve returned to Kickstarter for further funding. Having already done three campaigns to get the original funding, the third one being successful, they’re back to reach stretch goals that weren’t unlocked previously.
Just in case you’re not aware of what One Final Breath is, you’re playing as a father who’s gone searching for his missing daughter. She’s last been seen around the St. Mary’s boarding school so he goes off to try to find her. What he finds inside is not exactly what he expects. Remember, this is a horror game and the school used to be an institute housing the mentally unstable.
You’re armed with nothing but your wits, a flashlight, and your cell phone. There are no weapons to be had so you’re forced to run and hide everywhere in the hospital-slash-school if you want to survive the night. You’ll be spending as much time solving the mystery of the place in One Final Breath as you will be searching for your daughter.
If you were a backer of any of the previous campaigns for One Final Breath then you should be aware that the third attempt just barely got funding, which meant that only PC (Windows, Mac, and Linux) ports were unlocked. Dark Day Interactive wants to have a good amount of console support so they’re returned to get funding for Playstation 4 and the Xbox One, with others like the Wii-U and Oculus as further stretch goals.
One more thing about the new campaign is that previous backers of One Final Breath that pledge again will get something special. Don’t ask me what it is because I don’t know and they don’t say.
