I’ll admit that Witch Boy Magical Piece had definitely not been on my radar before today. The reason it came to my attention is because Sekai Project announced it during their Otakon panel! This boy’s love (BL) title focuses on a group of five young men with magical powers. For whatever reason, to fight the impending alien menace, they must transform into “magical girls” to fight them off. Sure, why not!

The game was originally released on Japanese smartphones but the upcoming Kickstarter will focus on a Steam version. Right now, developer Rosemary House suggest a release date of sometime in 2016. This is great news for BL fans, and is just the second of Sekai Project’s expansive catalog to delve into the yaoi genre (the first being still-upcoming November Boy).

We don’t know yet when the Kickstarter will launch, but of course will share the news as soon as it does. In the meantime, here’s a trailer:

Glad to see the BL visual novel Sentimental Trickster was funded. How about those #Kickstarter stretch goals? https://t.co/AEU8LaeD6M - 3 years ago
