Killmonday just announced the release date for their point-and-click horror adventure game Fran Bow. Their latest update revealed that it will be unveiled to the public on August 27, so in a month you’ll be able to experience the horror firsthand. Along with this announcement they also graced backers with the new trailer for the game, which you can watch below.

Fran Bow

For those that don’t know, Fran Bow is a game that’s so unnerving it falls squarely in the “don’t play with the lights off” camp. Seriously, I played the demo when the campaign was running and I had nightmares for a week. Add to it the fact that the protagonist is a young girl that sees her parents brutally murdered it’s not for the faint of heart.

So, check out the trailer, browse the Web site, and come next month you can be horrified too. Just make sure you wear clean underwear before you do.
