It’s finally time for everyone to head north to the frozen expanse of the lands of Pillars of Eternity via the first half of the new expansion The White March. That’s right. Part one is now available for download and play via several platforms. Including Steam, GoG, and Origin. For those who backed at a tier that includes a copy, the update gives you all you need to know to redeem your key. If you aren’t getting a copy through their backer system then you can still purchase it for around $15. Which actually isn’t too bad considering there’s a lot more than new content.

Pillars of Eternity The White March

If you caught our piece on what’s in the expansion you’ll know what to expect. And it’s a lot. Between the new quests you’ll be treated to new companions, an expanded level cap, and plenty of “quality of life” improvements. If you’re like me and haven’t played the core Pillars of Eternity yet now might be a good time to grab the expansion and play fresh. Then trek on north.
