Chaos Reborn is set to launch on the 26th of October. The tactical fantasy RPG from the creator of the original X-COM will be missing a few of the features initially promised on the project’s Kickstarter page, but the developer promises they will be patched into the game within two months following release, with regular updates to follow.
The project was brought to life with the help of 5,051 backers, who poured $210,815 into the game’s development. Being a remake of the developer’s own 1985 game, Chaos: The Battle of Wizards, it introduces a plethora of modern features into the mix, such as online multiplayer, rankings, and co-operative gameplay. As you’d expect, it’s a whole lot prettier too.
So there you have it. If you’d like to become a wizard, you can buy Chaos Reborn through Steam on the 26th. For more information, check out the game’s official website, and follow creator Julian Gollop on Twitter.
Been playing the game in early access and the multiplayer is absolutely amazing.
