I’m a sucker for adventure games but sometimes a premise isn’t enough to sell me on backing it. In the case of Kelvin and the Infamous Machine I almost passed on it entirely. That was when it was called Inspire Me and the idea of some punk kid messing up the timeline just didn’t inspire any real confidence in me. When Blyts returned with a rebranded game and this time it’s a deranged scientist screwing things up I actually did take notice.

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine has been on Steam’s Early Access platform for a while now but I’ll admit that I have yet to find the time to play it. I know, shame on me. However, as of the latest update they announced a full release date of July 21 which includes the final touches such as achievements (which I’ll admit that I’ve just gotta catch them all). Maybe once those are ready I’ll finally try to find the time to play the full game.

Oh, and here’s a new release trailer for you to watch.
