I’ll back pretty much any adventure game on Kickstarter, but the ones that really catch my eye are those with something special. In the case of Ghostdream, it has to be the artwork. I love the otherworldly look to the game and the premise is interesting enough to instantly back it. However, it has also come to my attention that it’s currently running on Indiegogo as well.
I don’t mind someone going through a site other than Kickstarter, but I do with them on several sites concurrently. I understand one reason is due to not enough traffic for Ghostdream on Indiegogo, but it is still a pet peeve. My guess is that nobody’s backing the first campaign due to flexible funding. Nobody I know likes that as the developer will get everything pledged, successful or not.
I do still love the idea behind Ghostdream and I backed the Kickstarter as soon as I heard about it. I do wish that they brought up the Indiegogo campaign somewhere in the pitch, though.
Looks sketch. Looks more like they’re looking to get a quick buck. The quality of the game in the video isn’t even that great – I’d know, I play indie horror games a lot. This game may as well be a free game on Indiedb, the person is requesting money for the sake of free money. If they need money – they should get a job and do gaming on the side until they get hired as a professional.
Likely a scam, or a person who can’t handle money.
so what your saying is that everyone who has a video gae project on Kickstarter is a scammer because they are not part of a big company god you are a douchbag
That is not what I said, but if thinking that and jumping to hostile conclusions makes you sleep better at night, be my guest, moron.
