Jon and Ryan, the two behind the irreverent pixelated adventure game known simply as “City Quest” poked their heads out of the proverbial ground like demented groundhogs to give us an update finally giving us a release date for the title. The date that they have firmly set is August 20, so if you want to see a hillbilly from the sticks try to make it in the big city but fail miserably in every way imaginable (and several that can be only gleaned from insane minds like these two) then mark your calendars for next month.
Just what is City Quest, though? In short, it’s a death simulation. Seriously, one of the main draws of the game is to see how many ways you can think of to kill the main character off. And there are four career paths that you can choose from after landing in the big city. Plus, MINI-GAMES! Who doesn’t like mini games?
