Bit of bad news and good news for all you fans and onlookers of Lotia. First off, progress on the indie RPG game from Crayon Ponyfish has been going steady for some time now. An update from March 28 says we’re getting maps, a lot more. According to the update its jumped from 12 to 22 and there’s all sorts of new ‘environmental mechanics’ that weren’t specified. It’s always nice to see developers give some time and attention to the setting, instead of just re-using the same environment with different enemies. The good news continues, with the developers stating that they were ‘now about 73% through the rebuilding of the HD versions of versions of our phantasms, demons, dream catchers, pirates, and Dominion empire personnel’ and claim to have moved onto working on balancing weapons, items, and skills.
Unfortunately, this is where the bad news comes in. The game launched date will be pushed back to the end of the year. But hey, one more bit of good news is that they’re going to have an extra 3 hours of gameplay so in the end, it’ll all be worth it when the game is released. Hopefully.
