The two man development team, game lovers, and hardcore programmers at Limevision Studios, had an idea for an exploration survival game that can only become a reality with the help of the IndieGoGo community. There’s a big variety of gameplay modes they want to incorporate into their latest project, Aware, that Limevision cannot put together without the assistance of crowdfunding. With $8,000, Limevision can put together The Crash game mode along with continue to program it.
In Alone you’re stranded on an island, with nowhere to go. You must rely on your knowledge of the environment and intuition to determine what is safe or unsafe for eating or livability. The entirety of the game is exploration based and through skill trees, players can build up which skill set they want to find the correct route of survivability they want.
Now, as I’ve said, this is a survival game. If you were stranded on an island, you would have some needs to take care of. Eventually, all that walking around would make you tired. Food and water would be a must. When playing Aware, players are limited by their needs as they would in real life.
Aside from the solo exploration, players can enable a multiplayer mode for locating various airplane parts, building a fortress, or just fighting to the death (it’s going to happen if you were stranded anyway!). We can expect these additional modes if stretch goals are met.
If stretch goals are met, we can expect to see these additional game modes implemented along with an advanced crafting system down the line. Thus far, Limevision has raised $243 for their goal but there’s over 55 days of the campaign remaining, so there is plenty of time to raise the remaining part of the goal.
