spate1Well, dear Cliqist readers, I bring you glorious news! Remember Spate, The  2.5D platformer centered in a steampunk world full of robots and mystery?

Here’s a little bit of information for your reading pleasures anyway!  Spate was funded back in 2012, exceeding the pledge goal of $12K by $2,430. The story centers around a detective burdened with a life filled with only tragedy and addiction. Feeling like he has nothing to lose, he invests himself completely in an investigation over the recent disappearances on an offshore island.  Eric Provan and his team has been working hard to improve the story and gameplay. In February of this year, the full game was released for the backers.

But here’s where the good news comes in! On March 27, the game is to be released on Steam and the launch trailer has been posted. There are many improvements to be expected regarding both gameplay, story, and visuals. The trailer absolutely stirs up my interest to play it.
