talltails2What if you could play games like Candy Crush and Angry Birds but for a charity of some sort? On top of that, imagine, part of the profit for this game on your phone is donated to associations who aim to give every animal a home? Zuul Labs anticipates to make this a reality with Tall Tails.

Tall Tails is a puzzle game by Zuul Labs for mobile devices about puppies that have lost their way and are stuck in a fairy tale land of puzzles and games. It’s up to the players to help them escape. Inspired by the founders’ active interest in dog rescues and finding them homes, they decided to put their passion to work to help animals and get them better owners.

Everything in Tall Tails revolves around puzzles but the further you progress with your dog, the more challenging brain teasers will come along. The story is about these adorable rescue dogs that have lost their way in a magical storybook and the only way out is through puzzle solving.

During gameplay, there is a little puppy accompanying the player at the top of the screen. This is meant to mimic the pet owning responsibility. Players are able to control and customize said puppy to their heart’s content. The puppy will be dragged around the puzzle board, picking up some mad combos and heightening that score. With the money earned in game, players can enjoy the microtransation system and add onto even more items for their puppy.

Zuul Labs is trying to raise $150K for Tall Tails’ release. Upon release, the game will feature 5 different levels, 25 puzzle games, and a total of 125 puzzles over. As always, if stretch goals are met we can expect to see more content.
