temporus1We’re expecting some big things from Temporus, and Firebelly Studios has some big plans.

Just a random worker, an absolute nobody, is going through his everyday routine at work, mining away for some ore with his crew when havoc strikes. The emergency lights are flashing, the alarm is flailing away, it’s definite that’s something is about to attack. The crew returns to the home planet to discover everything has been left in ruin without a single trace as to why.

In this side-scrolling, RPG, platformer, you become the worker with an identity as the crew and yourself span across space investigating the cause of this horrible incident.

Time traveling. Item stealing. Fighting. Meeting Jellyfish. What more could you even ask for?

Temporus is broken up into miscellaneous levels, each different from one another both in style and gameplay. With each level, you’ll uncover more of the digital universe’s past, witness battles long forgotten, and discover primitive technology that determines the fate of the universe.

temporus2Firebelly Studios is a firm believer in games’ artistic integrity and view them as an art form. That being said, they turn to Kickstarter for $20K by July 20th to support their art staff and musician. The entirety of the campaign is for the creative talent. Just listen to that soundtrack, created by C-Jeff, you’ll just collapse and want to throw all your life savings at them (trust me).

Temporus will be released on PC, Mac, and Linux but if stretch goals are met, we can expect to see a PS4, Vita, and Xbox One version. A projected release date has not been mentioned yet but it may be addressed in upcoming updates.
